A Video Tour of Las Vegas Attractions

There are really some incredible new hotels and casinos in Vegas these days, and if you haven’t seen them yet, you really ought to take a trip and check them out for yourself.

But for those of you that can’t make it or who are planning your trip and want to know where to stay and what to see, I shot some footage of the newest places (and a couple old gems) and put together this video for you. So hope you enjoy it – especially the CityCenter footage at the beginning – that place is simply stunning.

If you can only visit a couple hotels while you are in town, I would recommend making the Aria at CityCenter one of them – this place really takes things to a whole new level in terms of design and sheer elegance.

After CityCenter, I would recommend seeing Bellagio, the Venetian, and Wynn – in that order. These are all amazing resorts, and if you can afford to stay in any of them, definitely go for it.

Of course, if you are going at a busy or high priced time of year, or if funds are very tight, there are plenty of great options both on and off the strip that serve as great bases from which to visit these other magnificent resorts.

The South Strip is a Mecca for families with kids, featuring such wonderful hotels as the MGM Grand with its Lion Habitat, Mandalay Bay, with its Shark Reef Aquarium, and Excalibur, with its ever-popular Tournament of Kings and 3-D Motion Rides. Plus, for older kids, you can always head across the street for the Roller Coaster at New York, New York.

And Don’t forget about the old favorites too, like Caesars Palace, with it’s never ending and gorgeous Forum Shops, still about the best place in town to shop, eat, and spot celebrities (I’ve seen a bunch there my self).

Mirage with its dolphin habitat and volcano and Treasure Island with its pirate ship show both remain no-miss attractions too. And you simply have to see the view from atop the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas or, for the wilder among us, take a free-fall jump off the 1,100 foot Stratosphere Tower.

And let’s not forget about the casinos, the pools, and all the amazing, unforgettable shows. Let’s face it, there is just too much to see and do in Las Vegas for just one trip, but you sure can have a blast trying to fit everything in!
