Grand Canyon Tours from Las Vegas

Grand Canyon Tours from Las Vegas are one of the most popular attractions in Sin City, and for good reason.

Vegas is about the best place from which to see the Canyon in style. With flight times of just under 40 minutes, Vegas is just a hop skip and a jump from the majesty and beauty of the canyon.

There are several ways to get the the canyon from Las Vegas, the most economical being by motor coach. But flight tours by plane can be far less expensive that many might imagine, and with an aerial tour, you can get to the canyon and back in time for a great, relaxed lunch at your hotel, if you want to.

And there are a whole lot of even more exotic and incredibly exciting plane and helicopter yours of the Grand Canyon available from Las Vegas, including:

  • Grand Canyon air and land tours (land at the canyon bottom!)
  • Grand Canyon air tour and rafting adventure
  • Grand Canyon aerial tour and Las Vegas sunset flights
  • Grand Canyon Aerial tour and hiking excursions

And there are many more options available, far too many to list. Tickets typically range from about $125 on up for plane tours and about $250 and up for helicopter tours to the canyon.

If you are more inclined to stay on the ground, you have some great options too. There are a lot of motor coach tours of the Grand Canyon from Vegas, including many of the same options as the helicopter tours,

One big difference is simply the time involved in getting to the canyon via motor coach vs. by airplane or helicopter (typically several hours via bus vs. 40 minutes by plane or helicopter).

In addition, the views of the Canyon from above are simply incredible and blow those on the ground away. And helicopters have the added advantage of being able to land down in the canyon, which is very, very difficult to get to by land (it takes an all-day hike).

Whatever option you choose to get to the  Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, you are bound to have a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable time. It is a great way to enjoy a change of pace for the day, away from the lights, noise, and excitement of the Strip.

And it is also about the easiest way to get to see the Canyon, as getting there by car can be quite a jaunt, and hotels and motels in the area are not nearly as numerous or as luxurious as those in Las Vegas.
