Of all the venues in Las Vegas, Venetian weddings are some of the most diverse in terms of location, especially at the larger and better resorts. As a five diamond resort, the Venetian has absolutely outstanding facilities. But while you can find beautiful hotel wedding chapels at other resorts, what makes the Venetian unique is its network of canals and bridges.
Like many of the newer hotels (with the exception of Aria and CityCenter), the Venetian has some wonderful dedicated wedding chapels. In fact it has 3, each of which seats around 50 people, and all of which overlook the resort’s beautiful garden and pool areas.
In addition, the chapels can be combined into one large room seating up to 150 wedding guests, if you have a larger affair in mind.
But in addition to the chapels, the Venetian also offers weddings in a wide range of other locations, and this is what really distinguished it from other places.
One great possibility is the wedding in a gondola. You can be wed as you float along the Grand Canal in a beautifully decorated boat, a gondolier serenading you in authentic Venetian fashion after you say your vows.
Another great location offered by the Venetian wedding planning staff is the Ponte al di Piazza, also known as the “bridge over the square”, which crosses the beautiful grand Canal. It’s the perfect location for an outdoor night time wedding on a warm summer evening.
Still other great locations include a secluded courtyard area at the Venezia tower, or the Venezia Chapel Terrace, which overlooks the amazing Venezia Gardens.
In addition, you have two locations to consider at the neighboring Palazzo resort, the first being the Palazzo Hospitality Parlor Terraces, which have beautiful little fireplaces and small side gardens, providing a wonderful indoor/outdoor locale.
