Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa

Located east of the Strip in the suburb of Henderson, Nevada, Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa is a gorgeous property. A boutique hotel that is both beautiful and family friendly, Green Valley Ranch has 490 rooms and suites.

The casino is quite decent sized, at 50,000 square feet (or 4,600 square meters) with 54 tables offering everything from blackjack to roulette, and there are also 22 tables in the casino poker room.

Restaurants at the hotel include the high end Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis, China Spice, the Italian-themed Terra Verde, comfort food at Turf Grill, and Japanese fare at Sushi + Sake.

There is also the Feast Around the World Buffet, for high quality Vegas style all-you-can-eat dining. And there is a mall-style food court with everything from Panda Express to Fatburger. So whether you want an expensive romantic meal in amazing surroundings or a quick, cheap meal with the kids, you won’t even have to leave the resort.

The pool area is quite beautiful and stylish. There is a large pool for all guests at the hotel. You can also gain access to a second VIP pool called The Pond by renting a private cabana. There is a great spa at the hotel too, offering a wide range of treatments.

If you would like to do some shopping, there is a 45 store retail center adjoining he resort. The District at Green Valley Ranch also attracts residents from this upscale community and is quite a vibrant shopping area, with a range of stores including Anne Taylor, REI, and Anthropologie. The shops are really quite beautiful and a great place to find some unique items.

The upshot is that Green Valley Ranch is a beautiful property with a four diamond rating from AAA. You can have a fantastic vacation here, either as a couple or as a family. It’s a bit of a drive to the Strip and far more suburban and subdued than any of the larger casinos.

But if you want an upscale resort with great gaming that is removed from the craziness of Las Vegas Boulevard and the Strip, then this really is a fantastic place to consider.
