The Aria Hotel at CityCenter is a simply elegant new property that has quickly established itself as one of the trendy and popular spots to stay along the Strip.
Located just south of Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Aria is part of the enormous and impressive CityCenter development that also includes the Vdara and Mandarin Oriental hotels along with the stunning new Crystals at CityCenter mall.
The Aria simply exudes elegance from your first arrival at the front lobby drop off, where a gorgeous modern water sculpture sends controlled cascades down a textured granite wall. It is a fascinating fountain to watch and sets the scene for the elegant design inside the hotel itself. Looking up from the fountain, the curves of the hotel buildings are also quite beautiful, especially at night.
The lobby is spacious but not overwhelming, and the front desk workers are welcoming and accommodating. The casino area is located directly behind the front desk, as are several restaurants and bars.
The casino itself is one of the largest in Vegas, with 150,000 square feet (14,000 square meters) of gaming space. It is a dark, moody, and absolutely gorgeous casino, and there are a number of restaurants and bars immediately adjacent to it for easy access to food and drink.
The hotel itself has just over 4,000 rooms, all of which are spacious and elegantly decorated in a clean, very modern and very chic decor. Bathrooms are equally spacious and have tile floors with marble counters. Views from the higher floors are quite excellent, ranging from mountain views on the north side to views of the beautiful CityCenter architecture from the south facing rooms.
The pool area at the hotel is not as large as at some of the other top resorts in town, but it is elegant and beautifully landscaped with palm trees and tropical foliage. The result seems to be an intentional chic “pool party” atmosphere rather than a sprawling resort feel. Think beautiful people, Martinis and deck chairs rather than Spring Break.
This is a true five diamond resort in every sense: the design and decor are amazing, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the staff is wonderful, and the overall experience is definitely exceptional.
In addition, the hotel has the added benefit of being part of the CityCenter resort, with its incredible shopping, dining, and overall design. It’s the ultimate chic urban resort located right on the Strip, one quick tram ride away from the Fountains at Bellagio and the Eiffel Tower. What more could you ask for in a hotel?
