Encore at Wynn Las Vegas Hotel
First there was the Wynn, which re-defined class and elegance in Las Vegas, a tall order after other former Steve Wynn properties like Bellagio had already raised the bar quite high.
Then came the equally magnificent Encore at Wynn Las Vegas hotel, the Wynn’s identical twin which share some facilities, including several theaters and the Wynn’s amazing golf course.
The Encore does have its own equally large casino, however, with 110,000 square feet yet somehow maintaining a more private feel, with ultra-luxurious decor.
Every bit as stylish and sleek as its twin sister, Encore does have a slightly different vibe than the Wynn, though you have to take a peek inside to get a true feel for the differences between the two..
This 2,000 room hotel is known to be stylish without being too uptight, a bit more laid back and trendy than the Wynn. In both hotels, a refined style is evident everywhere, from the hallways to the restaurants to the rooms themselves. It is as if everything is one seamless work of art.
There were several improvements made at the Encore the build upon customer feedback from the Wynn, including larger suites. So in a very real way, the hotel set the bar higher yet again. Like the Wynn, it has achieved the rare five-diamond rating, making it one of the elite hotels in the world.
Encore Entertainment and Shopping
Encore is home to the wonderful Esplanade at Encore shops. The esplanade is not big but is ultra high-end, including such stores as Hermès, Chanel, Shades, and Rock & Republic.
For those who love to relax and have fun in the sun, the Encore has spectacular pools with pretty people and excellent poolside service too. The Encore Beach Club has a gorgeous pool withe private cabanas and all the perqs you would expect from such a high-end resort. It is designed by Steve Wynn to resemble a European beach club and offers an upscale all-day party atmosphere.
The night life at the resort is one area where it really shines. There is Le Reve, the Cirque-style show in the theater shared with the Wynn that is a no-miss and a great way to start any evening.
Then, there are Victor Drai’s XS nightclub, which was built at a price tag of $10 million bucks and which also takes over part of the Encore’s pool area after the sun goes down, This club is as purely decadent as they get, an all-night party for the trendy and the well off.
Finally there are the Encore’s fine dining restaurants, which tend to be more intimate than those at the Wynn, and which include Chef Theo Schoenegger’s Sinatra’s and Chef Jet Tila’s pan-Asian Wazuzu cafe. There’s also Chef Marc Poidevin’s Switch, which offeres French cuisine, and Mark LoRusso’s
