Of all the massive and incredible hotels built in Las Vegas over the past few years, none is more impressive or of higher quality than CityCenter Las Vegas, the new mega resort built along the South Strip.
What I find that makes CityCenter so unique is its attention to quality and detail and its development of a design and style all its own.
Built at a staggering cost of a 10 billion dollars, CityCenter is the most expensive and luxurious construction project ever built, and when you visit the place, you will see exactly where all that money went to.
It seems careful attention was paid to even the most minute details, from the sculptures in the courtyards to the tables in the faster food restaurants in the casino area – everything is a work of art.
There are several separate hotels within the CityCenter development, including the Aria, the Vdara, and the Mandarin Oriental. Each has its own unique style and feel, but all three are truly modern, sleek, and beautiful.
The casino at Aria might just be the most beautiful in all of Las Vegas, and that is saying quite a lot these days. You could spend ours just admiring the different designs in the casino area, lobby, and adjacent bars and restaurants.
As impossible as it seemed to be to do after such hotels as the Wynn, Venetian, and Palazzo, it really does seem that CityCenter has raised the bar yet again in terms of design and quality in Las Vegas.
This has the look and feel of a place that will be admired for not just its scope but for its architecture for many years and decades to come.
