Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel is one of the newest mega resorts to open on the Strip in recent years. Wedged on a strip between Bellagio and the sprawling CityCenter development, the Cosmopolitan is wonderfully situated, with easy access to both adjacent resorts and to Planet Hollywood and Paris Las Vegas right across the street.

Unlike a number of the newer places, you can walk right out from the casino here onto Las Vegas Boulevard, making it very easy to get in and out of the property and “casino hop”. But once you get a look at the interior of the resort, you might just decide you would rather stay and enjoy the ambiance, for it is a spectacular property.

From the moment you walk through the front entrance to the Cosmopolitan, you are struck by its amazing style and elegance. Everything is chic, trendy, and thick with crystals and ornate lighting fixtures.

The place definitely has a strong sense of style,from its lobbies and casinos to its other public areas. There are a number of wonderful bars and restaurants off the casino area and throughout the large hotel, including 13 different eateries, 5 beautiful and chic lounges and bars, and one very trendy club, the Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub, which is operated by the Tao Group, known for its famous Tao Beach club at the Venetian and for its New York venues.

The Tao Dayclub offers Grand Cabanas, each with with individual infinity pools, along with a number of three-story Bungalow Lofts, each featuring its own cabana at ground level, topped by a living quarters and a party deck on he top level.

In addition to the Dayclub, the hotel also has two other very distinctive pool areas, the Boulevard Pool, set on an elevated deck with a great view if the Strip, the Boulevard Pool is designed to feel intimate and social and to serve as a concert venue, with a stage at one end.


The third pool area is the Bamboo Pool, which is far more laid back and which is intended as a place to get away from it all and relax. Equally as stylish as the other two pool areas, it is quieter and a great place to sun or read a book.

The hotel also has over 14 trendy shops and boutiques, and you are right across a side street from the incredible Crystals at CityCenter shopping center, so you will definitely not want for high end and trendy shopping opportunities while staying at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. For more moderately priced shopping, just head across the pedestrian bridge to the huge and recently renovated Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood hotel.

The Cosmopolitan, with its 2,995 rooms set on 53 floors in two highrise towers, is a wonderful place to stay in Vegas. It’s casino, with 100,000 square feet (9,300 square meters) of gaming space, is one of the best and most chic in Vegas.


If you love a young, hip, well heeled crowd and a trendy vibe (or if you just like a beautiful hotel with all the amenities, this is a great place to stay.
