Four Seasons Las Vegas
Some people would say there are luxury hotels and then there is the Four Seasons, a cut above the rest. And in Las Vegas, the Four Seasons definitely IS above the rest, quite literally – it sits on five floors atop the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
Four Seasons doesn’t do casinos and they don’t do big, loud, or exciting. What they do is run hotels, and they do it better than just about anybody else.
The Four Seasons has its own separate entrance at the Mandalay Bay, and they have their own elevators that whisk you up thirty-five floors to their section of the building. They have their own registration, their own staff, and their own incredible way of doing things.
The rooms are simple but elegant and utterly luxurious, with the fine mattresses, pillows, linens, and amenities you would expect from Four Seasons. What you get here is sheer comfort, peace, and tranquility, and all just an elevator ride away from the noise, excitement, energy, and non-stop partying that is Las Vegas today. It is the best of both worlds in every sense, and it might just be the best kept secret in all of Las Vegas.
In fact, if you ask most people, they would have no idea there even was a Four Seasons in town. This is one stealthy enclave, and that seems to be the way Four Seasons prefers it, opulence without the flash. It’s a 424 room boutique hotel set anonymously atop a premiere casino and entertainment complex, with all the excitement, games, shows, and shops at your finger tips.
The hotel even has its own separate pool within the greater Mandalay Bay complex, which is more like a peaceful oasis than a crowded scene, a yin to the yang of the the crowded wave pools and water-park like atmosphere of the Mandalay.
Perhaps the best thing about the Four Seasons is its views, particularly of the Las Vegas Strip. Being at the end of the Strip, high up in the building, the views are almost unobstructed and as good as views from any hotel room in all of Las Vegas. You’ll want to take some time to savor these views.
From your wonderfully comfortable room, you can order room service, enjoy the spectacle that is Las Vegas in front of you, and contemplate your next move: will you head off to the casinos, maybe take in a great show, or will you instead just stay in and order dessert in your own little slice of solitude and perfection? It’s a great choice to have to make.
