Located on the Strip across from the Bellagio, the Paris Las Vegas Hotel makes quite a dramatic statement, with its soaring and ornate French Normandy styled tower, and its Louvre and Paris Opera House-styled casino facade is topped by a massive half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower.
Opened in 1999, the hotel has just under 3,000 rooms, making it a medium-sized property for Las Vegas today. Yet this is a large and impressive hotel that really looks great inside and out.
The casino comes in at under 90,000 square feet, and while not enormous, is plenty big. The coolest feature of the casino is that the the legs of the Eiffel Tower come right through the ceiling, resting on their structural foundations in the midst of the slots and tables. It’s a very unique and compelling design that gives the casino a different vibe from others on the Strip.
An elevator for the tower also comes down into the casino and the ride up can be accessed by a grand bridge that crosses the casino floor.
The exterior of the hotel sports not only the Eiffel Tower but also a 2/3 scale replica of the Arc de Triomphe. All in all, it is a really beautiful property in the daytime, and at night it is spectacular.
Entertainment and Shopping

While it is a bit on the kitschy side and not quite the spectacle of Caesars’ Forum Shops or the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, it is fun to stroll through and well worth the visit.
The Le Théâtre des Arts is a 1,200 seat theater that is currently hosting a permanent show by Barry Manilow. Other artists rotate in and out of the theater, so check the hotel site when you are going to be in town.
In addition to the theater, the hotel also opened the new Chateau nightclub, with stunning views of the Strip and the Bellagio Fountains across the street. Chateau had already become known as a bit of a celebrity hot spot, so if you like start gazing, definitely check it out.
And there is no better view from the Strip that that at night from the observation deck on the Eiffel Tower at Paris. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is definitely worth the trip up, but don’t forget to bring a camera!
Finally, the pool area at the hotel, while not nearly as big as those at Bellagio, the MGM, or elsewhere, is nonetheless gorgeous, with an utterly amazing view. Located atop the casino building with a view of the Strip, Bellagio, and much more, the pool is elegant, octagon shaped, and surrounded by great
